Copper Cathode

The cathode is the basic product of copper production. It is produced in a marketable form to use in high-quality applications.

Copper Cathode, usually a 50kg to 80 kg copper square, is produced when pure copper separates from unwrought copper in an electrolytic refining process.

Known for its high purity and consistent quality, Copper cathodes are square-shaped plates of 6mm thickness, with 99.99 per cent copper purity levels which are produced using the Mount ISA electro-refining process.

Copper Concentrate

Copper concentrate is a raw, processed ore that contains copper along with other minerals. It is typically produced at a mine site by crushing and flotation, which concentrates the copper content. Copper concentrate generally contains about 20–40% copper, with the remainder made up of iron, sulfur, quartz, and other minerals. It is not ready for direct use in products; instead, it serves as a raw material that must be smelted and refined to extract pure copper, making it an essential intermediate product in the copper production process.

Ultrafine Copper

Ultrafine copper powder is highly conductive, making it ideal for electronics and energy storage. Its exceptional thermal conductivity aids in aerospace applications like rocket nozzles, while its high surface area enhances chemical reactivity for catalysis and battery technology. It’s soft and malleable, easy to process into nanostructures, and has natural corrosion resistance. Additionally, its antimicrobial properties make it useful in healthcare. These qualities make ultrafine copper a valuable material across multiple industries.
